When the Teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought a woman that had been caught in adultery with the intention of stoning her,they were not wrong,that is what the written law of Moses commanded. Fortunately the author of the law happened to be present and he undid what the law said by his authority as God and author of that same law.
John 89″ At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10″ Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”11″ “No one, sir,” she said.“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Is it not absolutely amazing that even when The author of a law says “Go I have forgiven you!” we will still find zealots, legalistic extremists and religious hypocritical fundamentalists who still want to implement what has been untied?
I have personally had conversations with Lord where while feeling guilty, remorseful and afraid I have been told simply “Go,I do not hold this against you”When David says “If God be for us, who can be against us ?” he will actually be saying if God has set me loose WHAT IS MAN who continues to quote scripture out of context and out of a defiled judgmental heart.Whatever rules regulations were ever given by the Lord were designed to protect, shield and direct towards life not to kill.
When you are confused feeling totally condemned and weighed down, hold a conversation with your Lord, YOU WILL BE SURPRISED,PLEASANTLY SO.
