Exodus 1413 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation[b] of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold[c] your peace.”
I believe there were two cries that God had heard from the children of Israel when he finally sent Moses to deliver them.
The first cry was one of anguish and pain because of the brutality of Pharoah and his soldiers. The second was the cry of prayer directed at God.It is important for those who seek to be delivered by God to understand that he NEVER responds to curses, swearings and the uttering of the vile and toxic.
We also need to be clear about the two groups of people that God killed and destroyed when his deliverance plan moved into action. The first group was the Pharoah and his army, whom God promised would never be seen again. The second were the grumblers, complainers, cursers and rebellious. There is no doubt in my mind that the same group that led in the rising up against the Lord and Moses at the red sea is the same one that was swallowed up by the earth in the wilderness. The bible referred to some of them as famous or maybe influential and eloquent.
Numbers 26:9-10 9″And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:10″And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
HOWEVER THEY CROSSED A LINE,AND GOD’S JUDGEMENT FELL ON THEM.THEY WERE ALSO USED AS A SIGN OR WARNINGIt is important to know that there are things that ONLY God or those that he has specifically anointed to, can fix.Otherwise death will be a consequence.Let the cries TO God be loudest, he hears, he knows and he will deliver.
