John 14:27 “27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus promised to leave his peace with his disciples, because he was going to heaven. He was leaving them in the world, that is why he said I do not give as the world gives.How does the world give?As we look at what is going on around us we need to realise that everything that happens in the political, economic and social realm is designed to instill uncertainty, fear, anxiety and turmoil in our hearts and minds. Once that happens we also lose our receptivity to God, we lose our faith and our confidence in his promises. As we receive from the world we respond as the world responds with curses, anger, bitterness and hopelessness. That is how we lose our kingdom contact and blessings.It is important for God’s children to realise that the world is in the grip of satan’s agents and has nothing to offer us besides fear and anxiety, satan knows that when we are in that state we are not in a receiving position.We must allow the peace of God into our hearts minds and lives despite EVERYTHING that we are hearing, that we are seeing and that is happening. That is the only platform for receiving from God.THAT IS WHY JESUS GAVE AND CONTINUES TO GIVE US HIS PEACE BECAUSE OUTSIDE OF THAT PEACE WE ARE LOSERS!Just open your mouth and heart and receive his peace in Jesus name!!
